Tattoo Preview

Tattoo Preview (tattoospreview.com) helps you see a tattoo on your own skin before you book the appointment. The free editor runs locally in your browser. Upload a photo of your wrist, forearm, back or any other area, or start from a male or female body template. Then drop in a design from the sample library, upload your own PNG, or type a name in one of 13 Latin and Chinese tattoo fonts. You can resize, rotate, fade and wrap the design around the body, hold to compare before and after, and check an ageing preview (fresh, 5, 10 and 20 years). When you are done, download a PNG or export it for your artist. There are 14 body placements, each with a size guide and pain level. Dedicated workflows cover name and text tattoos, Chinese character tattoos, cover-up planning and full-body or large pieces. You can also turn a photo of a pet or partner into tattoo line art in the browser. Steps 1–3 (upload, place, adjust) are free and unlimited, with no signup and no watermark. If you want a realistic photo of healed ink with real skin texture, optional one-time credit packs (from $4.99) pay for AI renders made with Google's Gemini 2.5 Flash Image model. An AI tattoo designer also turns a one-sentence idea into two original designs.
